What is a Zone-cast?
A Zone-cast is Ozone Radio's free podcasting service of our popular talk programs distributed exclusive through Apple iTunes. They are recordings of the shows for those who missed the live airing. Due to us not holding the copyrights to the music, we may not provide downloadable versions of the songs, so any songs have been removed. To hear the complete versions of the shows with the music included and to interact with the hosts live, you'll have to tune in to the live shows.
What is available through the service?
Currently, two of our most popular shows are available for download:
- The Beautiful Radio Show
- The Spot Show
In addition, a periodic Zone-cast exclusive show called "The FrogCast" is also available for download. No sset schedule is set for when episodes are released, so this may be seen as a bonus for subscribing the service.
How do I use the service?
Mac/PC
It is required you have Apple iTunes. If you don't already have it, download iTunes here: http://www.iTunes.com/
Click the "Download Now" option from the dropdown menu at the top of this page under Zone-casts. Then simply select episode you would like to download or select "Subscribe" to have iTunes instantly download new Zone-casts that become available whenever you launch the program.
iPhone/iPod Touch
The Apple iPhone and iPod Touch both have a built-in iTunes application that can allow you to download or stream Zone-casts directly to your device without a computer.
To access the Zone-casts, open the iTunes application and do a search for "Ozone Radio: Zone-casts". Once you have found it, you may either select the "Download" button next to each available episode to have them stored on your devices harddrive to listen to at any time, or click the name of the episode to stream it.
