(PHILADELPHIA) -- Ozone Entertainment today announced that popular hard rockers The Giraffes will return to the Rock Band Network with their latest album, The Giraffes Ruled. The Giraffes debuted in Rock Band with the song "Done" off of the 2004 album Prime Motivator.

"The fans loved the first song, so we knew we'd have to try to bring more of The Giraffes' music to the RBN," said Owen Douglass, owner of Ozone Entertainment. "I'm glad we're going to bring the whole album to the game, as the songs blend together so perfectly. When players play through the entire album in order, they'll see exactly why it was meant to be experienced like this."

The Giraffes Ruled had previously never had an official release, only being made available at select live events. Last month, the band finally made the album available to everyone, and now they have partnered once again with Ozone Entertainment and will release it through the Rock Band Network.

The album contains eight tracks:

"The Border"

"The Bed"

"The Ciy"

"The Kids"

"The Invasion"

"The Store" (previously known at "The Counter")

"The War"

"The Occupation"

All eight songs will be available later this year for Rock Band 3 on the Xbox 360, with possible future release on the Playstation 3.
For more information, please visit http://www.ozoneent.com/ and http://www.thegiraffes.com/.

Ozone Entertainment: The Future of the RBN

Good afternoon everyone. Welcome to "Ozone Entertainment: The Future of the RBN." I'm Owen Douglass, the owner of Ozone Entertainment and your host for this event.

We love the Rock Band Network. When Harmonix launched the service, they opened up the Rock Band music library to a lot of potential that wouldn't be possible otherwise. Parry Gripp now has a collection of Internet oddities available in the game. Lemon Demon brought in "The Ultimate Showdown" with a new rocking version. Anamanaguchi recently chiptuned their way into the game as well. This is all thanks to the Rock Band Network.

Before we talk about the future of Ozone Entertainment with the Rock Band Network, let's look back at the past. At launch, we debuted with Ron Wasserman, the an behind all of the music from the original Power Rangers. We even authored a song in that style, giving players the closest thing we can to having the iconic music from the show. From here, we expanded out to more genres of music. From indy to hard rock, from contemporary to europop, we have delivered a variety of songs to choose from and appeal to all audiences. With partnerships with Counterfeit Pennies, The Giraffes, Eiffel 65, Sophie B. Hawkins, and more we are proud over everything we've accomplished so far.

Now, let's look at the present state of our RBN presence. Last quarter was our biggest one ever with Eiffel 65's smash hit "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" kicking off RBN2 in mid-March. For the first time, I would like to reveal that in just the first 14 days of being on sale, we sold over five thousand units on just Xbox Live. That's absolutely incredible, and humbles me that it was that well-received. Seeing videos of of players around the world using Pro Keys to learn the actual part and knowing that we had a part in that is heart-warming and we appreciate every single person who helped make it a success. I don't have exact details yet, but I can say with confidence that more from Eiffel 65 will be coming to the Rock Band Network.

Another project we're currently working on is Pac-Man Fever. We announced in December that the full album was coming in 2011 and then later we broke it up into two sets. The first set is halfway through Peer Review right now, with "Hyperspace" and "Mousetrap" still waiting to receive enough votes.

But right now, I would like to share with you the first public look at the complete chart for the title track, "Pac-Man Fever", which has already passed review.

Looks great, doesn't it? It should be available on Xbox Live later this month along with the rest of Set 1.

But... what about Set 2? People have been asking me when they'll get a chance to "Do the Donkey Kong" on the Xbox, or when they can ask a Centipede of he has Nikes for all of his feet. Surely Ozone Entertainment will get to work on these tracks as soon as Set 1 is released, right? Well... not exactly.

That's right, all four songs from Pac-Man Fever Set 2 are currently running in-game and I can happily announce that they will go into tester later this month. It won't be long before you can enjoy the entire Buckner & Garcia classic album thanks to the Rock Band Network.

So there you have it, the big announcement for today is the second half of the album being ready to go. Is everyone excited about that?

No, you expected more? Well I guess I have one more thing...

The title of this briefing is "Ozone Entertainment: The Future of the RBN." What that means is we want to be the ones to pioneer the service with innovations and offer players and artists something that none of the other authors can. I am a huge fan of groups like Fairwood Studios and RockGamer. They put out tons of quality tracks that are fun to play. But I wish they could offer... more.

The Rock Band Network is about literal translations of the music from the real instruments into the Rock Band Network experience. But why stop there? Why not take the music and create something completely new? Ozone Entertainment wants to do just that.

I'm proud to announce "Robin Skouteris VS Ozone", the newest project from Ozone Entertainment. We have partnered with popular Greek DJ Robin Skouteris, who is known worldwide for his amazing mash-ups, to bring his skills to the Rock Band Network and to the Ozone Entertainment music library. For the first time, mash-ups of existing RBN songs will be made available to play in the game along with the original songs. These mixes are made exclusively for the RBN and will give our fans a brand ne way to play our songs. We hope this will convince more artists to join with us and get their music involved in these mixes, as well as give more exposure to some of our great songs that have been overlooked.

The first song to be released from this is "American Hero vs. Done", pitting Ron Wasserman's original made-for-RBN song against The Giraffe's fan-favorite hard rock song. We're giving the mix away today as a free MP3. You can grab it here.

So when can you expect the RBN's first true mash-up track to hit stores? Well, today it will be appearing in Peer Review, so not too long.

I hope this has helped show you the future of the RBN. With Pac-Man Fever Set 2 coming to testing this month and now that we're offering exclusive mash-ups of our releases, we hope you believe that Ozone Entertainment is making the future just a little bit brighter.

Thank you, have have a great afternoon, and enjoy the rest of E3!
